Dr. Totz received his undergraduate Biology degree from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and then his medical degree from Midwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Totz earned his Flight Surgery designation from the Naval Operations Medical Institute in Pensacola, Florida and then spent the next seven years preparing aviation personnel for pre and post 9/11 missions in the Middle East. After leaving active duty Naval service, Dr. Totz completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston.
