Dr. Eric Berkman is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, and is a top-rated orthopedic surgeon in the Houston area. Dr. Berkman completed his orthopedic surgery residency training at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. He subsequently completed his spine and trauma fellowship in Basel, Switzerland. He has over 22 years of clinical experience and has authored numerous peer reviewed publications. His clinical interests include joint injuries of the knee and shoulder, fracture management and spine care. Dr. Berkman combines his many years of experience with ongoing research.

Dr. Ryan Stuckey is a board certified orthopedic surgeon at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and continued his training there for orthopedic surgery. Dr Stuckey furthered his skills by completing a Spine Fellowship at the Texas Medical Center. He has been in practice for over 14 years and is the recipient of multiple awards, including the American Orthopedic Association Leadership Award. Further, he has published over 40 papers and is frequently an invited lecturer on spinal topics at professional conferences. His areas of clinical expertise include spinal decompression surgery and spinal fusion.

Dr. Steven Lovitt is currently serves as a leading Neurologist at the Neurology Center and is affiliated with multiple hospitals including Methodist Hospital and Texas Orthopedic Hospital. Dr. Lovitt has served as the President of the Harris County Neurology Society and provides continuing education including presentation at Neurology lecture series.

In 2015, Dr. Durgam trained at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Durgam training and experience includes Level 1 trauma centers, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation medicine settings. As a physiatrist, her specialty covers knowledge and expertise in musculoskeletal medicine and pain management. She has experience treating cervical and lumbar conditions, performing injections and conducting electromyographic nerve studies. Dr. Durgam is well versed in the treatment of patients who have undergone polytrauma, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, whiplash, and fracture management.

Abhilash V. Durgam, MD, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Boston University, and then he continued his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a healthcare management concentration from the Davenport University Graduate School of Education in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Durgam went on to earn his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University (SMU) School of Medicine in West Bay, Cayman Islands. He then completed his residency training with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai at Richmond University Medical Center on Staten Island, N.Y. Dr. Durgam is Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and specializes in fibroid treatment (uterina myoma), minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery (robot-assisted surgery), hysteroscopic myomectomy, infertility and menopause. Dr. Durgam is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).

Dr. Lamie is a practicing Hospitalist and Internist with 8 years of experience. He currently practices at Memorial Hermann Sugarland Hospital and is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland. Dr. Lamie also practices at Oak Bend Medical Center Emergency Group in Richmond, TX.

Dr. Shah is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Shah is a dual fellowship Harvard trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. He also has a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and has completed fellowships in sports medicine/arthroscopic surgery and shoulder reconstruction. Dr. Shah is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, rthe American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Association of North America. He serves as Medical Advisor to the Texas Medical Center Innovation Institute and has won “Best Surgeon” and “Top Doctor” awards.

Dr. Karan Madan is board certified in Anesthesia as well as Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He completed his residency and fellowship training at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Prior to starting his private practice, he served as an associate clinical director at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School where he was responsible for training pain management physicians. Dr. Madan serves as an expert panelist in Pain Management for the Texas Medical Board. He owns his Pain Management practice where he performs outpatient procedures at clinics located throughout the greater Houston region.

Dr. Totz received his undergraduate Biology degree from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and then his medical degree from Midwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Totz earned his Flight Surgery designation from the Naval Operations Medical Institute in Pensacola, Florida and then spent the next seven years preparing aviation personnel for pre and post 9/11 missions in the Middle East. After leaving active duty Naval service, Dr. Totz completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston. Dr. Totz then spent the next 14 years accruing over 40,000 emergency medicine hours in some of the most prestigious and remote emergency departments in the country. In 2018 Dr. Totz graduated with honors from Concord Law School at Purdue University Global. Today, Dr. Totz maintains a busy clinical practice as a medical director for First Choice Emergency Room, a division of Adeptus Health. In addition to avid writing and lecturing on a variety of health law topics, Dr. Totz is also Chairman of the First Texas Hospital Peer Review Committee, which oversees quality reviews of twenty emergency departments in the Houston metropolitan area.

Dr. Nathan has practiced as a Licensed Psychologist in the Houston area for over 25 years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University, a Master of Arts from Loyola University in Chicago and a Doctorate from Texas A&M University – all in Psychology. He completed his internship at the Houston VAMC with a specific interest in working with patients with various medical conditions and disorders. Dr. Nathan founded a group of licensed doctoral and master’s level therapists specializing in psychological issues unique to the medical patient. His expertise includes working with adult and geriatric patients with mood disorders and anxiety, pre-surgical psychological assessments, neuropsychological testing, adults with neurocognitive disorders, and consultation liaison services to patients within medical/surgical hospitals.

Dr. Patel is board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. She completed her Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship and Anesthesiology residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Prior to this, she completed her medical education at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and received her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University. Dr. Patel is a member of International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Neuromodulation Society, Texas Pain Society, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society.

Kelly J. Larkin, MD, FACEP, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, is the founder and President/CEO of The Larkin Group. Using her experience as a physician in emergency medicine, Dr. Larkin has implemented successful healthcare processes across the country for over twenty years. Dr. Larkin also serves in leadership positions for several companies and has years of hands-on experience in medical care, medical billing, emergency services and physician staffing. Dr. Stephen L Jones, MD, is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist in Houston, Texas. He completed his Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Fellowship at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Scott & White Healthcare System/ Texas A&M Health Sciences Center. Dr. Jones is a member of the Society of Skeletal Radiology, the Texas Radiological Society, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Society of Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Marc Feldman has been practicing Family Medicine and Sports Medicine in Houston for over 20 years. He is currently serving as Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and on the hospital’s Executive Committee. Dr. Feldman currently practices at Village Family Practice, where he is currently a partner. In the past, he has served on the Quality Assurance Committee for Renaissance Insurance and is a volunteer faculty member at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Feldman has always been directly involved in the local community. He is also a first responder at athletic events and is well versed in the evaluation of acute trauma patients.

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Allen Deutsch, M.D., has been proudly serving the Houston community since 2000. Dr. Deutsch is currently in private practice in General Orthopedics in Bellaire, Texas. Dr. Deutsch earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Deutsch served as the shoulder and elbow specialist for Kelsey Seybold Clinic for 17 years in the Texas Medical Center, Spring, Pasadena and Humble. He then worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston. Always on the cutting-edge of orthopedic medicine, Dr. Deutsch is involved in ongoing, industry-supported research in several areas, including new techniques for improved healing in rotator cuff repair surgery,

nonsurgical management of shoulder injuries, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Deutsch is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and has hospital privileges at Texas Orthopedic Hospital, Memorial Hermann Hospital and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital.

Steven Sopher is a licensed physical therapist with over 24 years of experience. He received a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Women’s University in the Houston Medical Center. After successfully managing an industrial-based rehabilitation clinic for several years, Steve co-founded Ergo Rehab in 2000. Steve has extensive experience as a clinical therapist treating orthopedic related injuries as well as performing Functional Capacity Evaluations and directing return-to-work programs. Steve has served as a CARF surveyor for several years.

Dr. Craig Cook, MD, is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist with 11 years of diverse experience. He completed his Sports, Orthopedic, and Emergency Radiology Fellowship, as well as his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Texas, Houston. Dr. Cook is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Texas Radiological Society, as well as the Harris County Medical Society. After leaving DeBakey VA Medical Center in 2014, as the Chief of a Consultant Radiology group, Dr. Cook has been an independent contractor providing teleradiology interpretations as well as on-site services/procedures at various clinics and imaging centers around the Houston area.
